Challenge
Fresh, up-to-date content is critical to the success of an online magazine. Blender Magazine asked 1/0 Tech to design and develop a Web site that empowers editors to easily update and associate information while reflecting the brand and content of its magazine. The site had to be robust enough to handle heavy traffic and compelling enough to encourage readers to purchase subscriptions.
Solution
1/0 Tech created a sophisticated, easy-to-use content-driven Web site with a customized CMS tool for editors to update information at any time. Using Microsoft SiteServer and a load balancer in conjunction with the flattening of most pages to reduce database traffic, the Web site is well-situated to meet the current and predicted future traffic needs of Blender.com.
